I’ve recently completed my multi-year treatment plan with Dr. Hirani at Smilelux in Milton Keynes and I’m very, very happy with the results. Dr. Hirani is not only highly professional and knowledgeable and acts with an incredible attention to detail, but is also very warm and a real conversationalist! Although my situation was complex, his course of treatment was highly successful; I had multiple extractions, three TADs (mini implant screws) and some shaving between teeth, as well as the usual straightening of bunched teeth, in order to correct my cross-bite, achieve more symmetry and enhance them aesthetically.

The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming upon arrival and the treatment room itself is always impeccably clean. The rest of the team have been excellent throughout, and I’d like to thank Saijel, Shivani, Maria and (formerly) Laura for their hard work and for being understanding of my unpredictable schedule and accommodating any changes I had to make to appointments on occasion.

I’d highly recommend Smilelux to anyone looking for orthodontic treatment in the area.

From start to finish the care and attention to detail was evident and the process clear and easy to navigate. Dr Hirani explained what we should expect, including the kind of results that could be achieved. For my daughter (who was aged 14 and a half at the start of treatment but is now 16 years) it initially seemed like a daunting process, but I love that Dr Hirani took the time to explain everything to her. He didn’t speak over her head, and he made it clear that the results also depended on her consistency with her oral care.

The 18 months went quickly. All the staff at SmileLux were friendly and professional. We received appointment reminders and never once had to wait to be seen, appointments always ran on time. We were very impressed with the high-tech equipment used at SmileLux and the ease with which staff used it. Everyone is clearly highly trained, and Dr Hirani is exceptionally skilled and knowledgeable. Most of all we were impressed with the way our teenaged daughter was treated. Her concerns regarding her smile at the start of the process were heard and throughout the process she was invited into the discussion and treated with the uttermost respect. She had no fear or anxiety when her appointments were due, and she became increasingly excited as she could see the transformation occurring with her teeth.

The outcome was more than we expected. Our daughter is extremely happy with the results, and she is smiling more now than she was 18months ago. Prior to treatment she was quite self-conscious and would smile with her mouth closed. Now she smiles freely and is no longer self-conscious. Thank you all, this is a priceless result. I would highly recommend Dr Hirani and the SmileLux team and as a bonus we thoroughly appreciated a well-run, ordered and peaceful practice. Bravo!
